I threw my back out unexpectedly and needed help. From the moment I called Physica I knew they wanted to help. Great effort in getting me an appointment quickly and getting me set up. I arrived on time and was so surprised to see Damien there ready to take me in dead on time too. Not very common these days! Damien has a very pleasant manner and was welcoming from the get go. He is also very experienced and was happy to share that with me when I asked about his background. He assessed my situation very thoroughly and started me off slow with therapy and do it yourself exercises for home (don’t expect miracles if you don’t do the home exercises too!). I could feel the benefits right away but also knew I needed to go slow. After three sessions, my back was in great shape again and that’s thanks to Damien’s treatments and his exercise plan. The clinic is clean and bright and I cannot say enough about the care and attention I received from Damien. He was super and I would recommend him and Physica to anyone in need. A great experience!

After a nasty road accident and a couple of months in hospital, Adam visited my home to assist with my rehabilitation. During this time we have got to know each other quite well and I look forward to his visits. I sustained a torn calf injury whilst skiing, my problem was I had another ski trip booked in only 6 weeks time, was there any chance I could recover in time? I couldn't get an NHS appointment for 3 weeks, so decided to bite the bullet and go private, Physica Health were recommended to me via a friend whose wife was a physio, so I was confident I was in good hands. On my initial assessment, the prognosis was not too good, I could barely walk at this stage, albeit aided with crutches. Adam was clear that it wasn't impossible I would be able to ski in 4.5 weeks but would require a treatment plan I would have to strictly follow and assessments would be made throughout to determine if there was any chance of getting back to skiing safely. This positive attitude gave me the belief and determination to work hard to achieve my goal. Progression was steady at first, but as I progressed more exercises were added. I was having 2 sessions a week and improvement was noticeable from session to session. After only 2 weeks of therapy, the improvement was tangible and Adam was more confident that I would be able to do at least some skiing. At the end of the 4 weeks, my calf function had improved dramatically and I was given the go ahead to go on my ski trip, although advised to take it really carefully and listen to my body. I am pleased to report that I did not miss a session skiing, other than one that was planned. It was an incredible trip and I can't thank Adam enough. All the calf massages, electric therapy and structured exercises all did the job. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam and Physica Health.

His extremely comprehensive experience in a number of fields shines through, and he combines this with a real passion and determination for success for his patients.
